Why is tree work expensive?
The actual removal or physical work on site is about 50% of the work done. the other 50% comes from hours spent maintaining and repairing, chippers, trucks, chainsaws, sharpening chainsaws and climbing gear inspection, cleaning and replacement. as well as time spent on communicating with the client, drive time for bids and time spent creating contracts. and adding on fuel costs, insurance, website, and software subscriptions.
